  This week I learned more about ranking, link building, and Google Analytics. Ranking, link building, and Google Analytics are all important aspects of SEO.   I learned a lot this last week. I learned about how to use different types of social media to expand my networking and to promote my business through social media. I had to learn everything about the social media platforms from the ground up since I haven’t really used any social media platforms before. I found it really interesting that there is so many ways that you can use social media to promote your business. I had never thought about all the different ways social media platforms could be used and so I had never cared to create profiles on them before. I will have to learn more about them and how to use them better to promote my business through trial and error as I go along since I know there are definitely better ways to use them then what I am trying right now. So I made a goal to learn more about each of the different platforms and to find new ways to promote my business through social media.

 I learned a lot this week and also stumbled through quite a bit trying to understand everything. I realized that I will have to work hard to be good at this kind of thing but I still really enjoy it. I went through my landing page and cleaned it up a bit and I also found that I started to get more clicks pretty fast. I went from around 4 clicks to around 10 clicks with just a couple of changes. It was great. I found it really interesting to learn about SEO (Search Engine Optimization). I found some of it made sense that it was important to the search engines but there were other things that surprised me. I didn’t realize that wording was so important on the website itself instead of just titles and headers. This week again keywords were emphasized as being important. So I will have to take my time and go through and place key words into specific spots throughout my pages. I know that my website needs a lot of work and wish that I had more time to put into it.
